ESLON DC Plate (Antistatic Plate、ESD PVC Plate）[ESD=Electro Static Discharge]

ESLON DC Plate and ESLON Hard Coat DC Plate are high performance static dissipative plates with excellent static discharge property.
Eslon Hard Coat DC Plate, thanks to its cross-linked structure, is superior in scratch and chemical resistance, and therefore, is hardly affected by marring or organic solvent attack.
These are available in a variety of sizes and colors to be utilized for all applications.

Product Overview of DC Plate

Technical innovation in the electronics and semiconductor industries is progressing at remarkable speed. It leads to ever-rising standards for the required materials, especially the countermeasures for the problem of electrostatic discharge (ESD = Elektro Static Discharge) are becoming further important, in order to prevent dust particle pollution, printed circuit and component contact degradation.

ESLON DC plates will contribute to the ESD problem solution.
SEKISUI is the pioneer of Antistatic Plates to has launched high performance Antistatic transparent PVC plates in the world. ESLON DC Plates have a conductive surface coating both sides of base plastic plate.

The high performance of the ESLON DC plates series has been gaining excellent reputation in Japan also in the world, recognition as a high quality brand. It is particularly worth noting that ESLON DC plates were adopted in the following projects:

Tohoku University, the super clean rooms of the Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Ultra Microelectronic Circuit Test Facility (Japan, 1986)

Osaka University, the super clean rooms of the Research project of Ultra Precise Fabrication of Osaka University (Japan, 1997). As the result it has substantiated the high performance of our products that can be provided to the world highest class facilities at all times.

Various Product Range

ESLON-DC plates are available in three base materials as PVC, PMMA / Acrylic and Polycarbonate (PC), }
with four color variations as transparent clear, smoked brown, orange and yellow,in the size of 1,120×1,380, 1,000×2,000, 1,212×2,424 and thickness 1 – 15mm.

Excellent Static Dissipative Performance

All ESLON DC plates feature a conductive static dissipative surface coating on both sides.
With a surface resistivity of 106 - 107Ω/ □ the product is within the static dissipative range of antistatic products.
The static dissipative performance lasts permanently and definitely independent of humidity.
As a matter of course the permanent conductive coating does not affect the outstanding clarity or the excellent technical characteristics (mechanical processability) of the base materials.

Excellent Optical Performance

ESLON DC Plates ESLON DC plates are available in the transparent clear, smoked brown, orange and yellow, and have excellent optical property.

Excellent Fabrication Ability

Static dissipative performance is almost maintained after fabrication of forming, bending etc.

ESLON Hard Coat DC Plate

It is recommended for areas of application with frequent exposure to chemicals (especially solvents) and a high degree of wear and tear. ESLON Hard Coat DC Plate is also available in all three ESLON DC types.

Applications of DC Plate

ESLON-DC plates apply on varies field from the electronics industry, automation technology, clean room technology to machine and plant construction. Typical examples of application for ESLON-DC plates as Antistatic plates are adopted in printed circuit board(PCB) test equipment, machine covers, inspection windows, partition wall, installation in clean rooms etc. There is no limit to the range of applications.
